Randall
Randall began his Internet career in 1995, when he developed the first web site for Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 energy company headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. For several years, as an intern and then full-time employee, he amazed his peers and superiors by doing on the web what others believed impossible. He converted legacy applications, beat deadlines, cost estimates and the competition -- winning award after award from peers and stakeholders.
In 1997, Mr. Minter started his first dot-com, a website where college students could provide feedback about courses and professors. The system had an eye-opening effect on the university landscape providing a level of visibility never before possible and sparking a passionate debate that prompted his university to open its own student review books to the campus population.
After graduating, he pursued his love of web applications as a consultant to organizations in a range of sizes from start-ups building scalable web systems to Fortune 500 Companies developing web-based database driven applications. In the Fall of 2006 he began writing the code that powers Qrimp.com and launched the public beta in November of 2007. He wanted to bring the power of web applications to a larger audience, reduce the learning curve, costs and time to market, and build a platform on which he could manage and implement the countless ideas in his head.
Randall believes the Internet is the future of computing. In his opinion, it's still very young and we haven't even begun to understand the huge impact it will make on our lives and our environments.
Randall's work can be epitomized in the following manner:
Randall: "I can do that on the web!"
Skeptic: "No you can't!"
two hours later...
Randall: "Hey! Check this out!"
