The Problem
The client is a global organization and struggled to keep the entire sales team on the same page. Compounding the problem, multiple systems were in place to manage orders, product pricing, retail sales incentives, revenue projections, reports and more.
The client was using outlook to schedule meetings and emailing reports on a weely basis. It was inconvenient for the staff to keep track of sales strategies and engagements. Furthermore, communicating pricing information between the sales team and the marketing group was tedious and it had become impossible to keep everything in synch.

The Process
Hour 1:
The project began with an initial consultation to learn more about the client's pain. After an hour long session, the Qrimp team went to work building out a system to meet the client's needs and get initial feed back.
Hour 9:
After 8 hours of custom development, another meeting was scheduled with the client to get feedback about the results and discuss areas for improvement. The client was amazed that we had accomplished so much in just one day. With more information in hand, the Qrimp team went back to work.
Hour 17:
Eight more hours of development included adding more tables and reports, customizing the security for Sales and Product Marketing employees, and adding a custom skin to brand the application to the look and feel of the client's external website.
Hour 18:
One last meeting for a final demo of the product and the client was floored with the level of functionality offered in such a short amount of time. This entire project was delivered in only a few days of work.
The Delivery
Total development time to build the custom CRM system was 18 hours including two 2 hour meetings with the client to demo the site and get feedback after two iterations. Compare this to a custom CRM system that could take months to deliver and tens of thousands in development costs. Even customizing an existing packaged CRM system could cost thousands and take weeks.
Qrimp delivered a product that exactly fit the needs of the customer without all the extra features they didn't need.
