The Problem

Our client had a static website that required IT professionals to keep it in synch with their current product offering. When a new print catalog was shipped, a web developer was paid to edit various html files. The site only had basic email forms for commicating interest in products. The client wanted an online store that could be easily maintained without a computer science degree and the ability for their customers to shop for items and place orders from the website.

The Solution

Qrimp built an online store that had a flexible interface to adapt to the client product offerings in various categories. Product descriptions and images could be managed dynamically from the web without having to edit any files.

Customers could log into the system, browse the online catalog and add items to a shopping cart. Total prices were tallied and the customer could check-out to place the order. Order history information was available once the order was placed.

The Process

After a meeting in person and gaining an understanding of the problem. The Qrimp Solutions team built an online store and imported the items from the client's existing website. A login name and password were provided for the client to log in and examine the system.
